Supervision
I am a Board-Approved Supervisor (BAS) with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
I provide clinical supervision and a welcoming space for Provisional Psychologists, Registered Psychologists, Counsellors, and other therapists to reflect on their practice and hone their approach. I uphold best practice principles by guiding, mentoring, and assessing the competence and ethical practice of other Psychologists in Australia in alignment with AHPRA’s guidelines and Code of Conduct.
I have a particular interest in working with clinicians who are developing their skills related to couples therapy or working with trauma. I am well-versed in CBT (including Trauma-Focused CBT), Schema Therapy, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing.
Countertransference is an area I believe is deeply important for therapists to explore. Building insight into your responses and challenges as a therapist will allow you to make the most impact with clients while sustaining your wellbeing across your career. If we expect clients to lean into discomfort, tough questions, and uncertainty, we should be prepared to do the same.
I can assist you to develop skills in relation to:
Risk management
Couples and relationship therapy
Working with trauma, including PTSD
Supporting clients with anxiety, depression, and substance use
Building rapport with clients
Managing transference and countertransference
Working with LGBTIQA+ and CALD clients
Facilitating workshops and presentations
Working with groups
Maintaining professional boundaries
Ethical practice and exploring dilemmas
Responding to legal requests and subpoenas
Effective and efficient record keeping
Staying up to date with the Code of Conduct for Psychologists in Australia
50-minute sessions typically cost $260.

You can listen to my style of conversation on the below episode of the Mental Work podcast with Bron Wilkins. We discuss working with trauma, EMDR, how to decide what therapeutic modality to use, and countertransference.
